About HHS
Higley High School teachers and staff encourage and support all students in their efforts to achieve excellence in both academics and extracurricular activities. Higley High offers a varied and comprehensive program that includes outstanding arts programs, competitive athletics, and rigorous academic programs that meet the educational needs of students and have been recognized nationwide.
The school’s partnership with Chandler Gilbert Community College allows students to earn dual credit in 30+ courses and graduate with an associate degree. Students enjoy the support of a strong community of parents, families, business leaders, teachers, staff, and administration that work collaboratively to ensure they are tomorrow’s leaders.
Higley High School offers 50+ sports and clubs to meet all interests. Teams compete at the highest level, with recent state and region titles in spiritline, volleyball, soccer, football, track and field, and Unified Sports. The Air Force JROTC program consistently wins state and national accolades, as well. Students can choose Career and Technical Education in film, graphic design, software development, criminal justice, sports medicine, engineering, and marketing. These classes provide training in job skills, including collaboration, communication and problem solving.
Higley High School, is located in Gilbert, AZ, a community listed as a “Best Place to Raise a Family in Arizona by WalletHub” (No. 7 in U.S. & No. 1 in Ariz. 2019). Higley High School is recognized as a top school in Arizona, making the US News & World Report list for six consecutive years (2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015).
